Palaszczuk Government’s staggering $3 billion waste
QLD GOVERNMENT PROMISES WITHIN THE FOUR-YEAR TERM
Bitcoin is the greatest scam in history
Why do the Queensland Labour Government fail abysmally in NOT LISTENING to the people of Queensland who want longer gaol terms for repeat youth offenders. The Annastacia Palaszczuk government is so arrogant and have absolutely NO IDEA on delivering effective solutions to this plague. The left wing idealists with all the theories and rhetoric are seemingly out of touch with what works and what fails. Everyone deserves a second chance BUT if you continue to offend repeatedly then the time has come for a very long term of imprisonment.
THE ABC reported on this attrocious crime;
The husband of a Brisbane mother-of-two killed in an alleged home invasion on Boxing Day last year says he feels “let down” by the system.
Emma Lovell was stabbed to death at her North Lakes home.
After her death, the state brought in harsher breach of bail laws. Lee Lovell was one of hundreds to march on Brisbane Parliament House on Wednesday to demand tougher sentences for young offenders.
He called for more action from government, and more support for crime victims.
“In my own personal situation, at times we’ve felt very let down by the system with a total lack of support,” Mr Lovell said.
He pleaded for parents “to stop being friends to their kids and “start making hard decisions”.
“You can’t just blame the government and the courts,” he said.
“Mine and Emma’s children aren’t out robbing people, they aren’t out there being disrespectful … because we brought them up to do the right thing.
“People are being arrested and let out on bail constantly over and over again.
“Until it’s changed from the top down and rules and regulations are changed … nothing will change.”
Earlier this year, state parliament passed laws making breach of bail a crime for children, with a penalty of up to one year in detention.
